Is Travelling To Cancun Safe

So, like, have y’all been thinking about travelling during COVID-19? I know it’s crazy times out there, but your girl has been craving some sun, sand, and good vibes. And what better place to go than Cancun, am I right?

It’s important to take precautions and be aware of your surroundings no matter where you go, but from what I’ve seen, Cancun is doing a pretty good job of keeping things under control.

Most places require masks and have implemented social distancing measures. And from what I’ve heard, the resorts are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of their guests. Plus, the beaches are open and looking as beautiful as ever. I mean, just look at this view:

But what about the experience?

Okay, let me just say, travelling during COVID-19 is definitely a different experience. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a good one. For starters, there are way less tourists than normal, which means you get to enjoy the beaches and attractions without feeling like you’re in a crowded theme park. Plus, the reduced capacity in restaurants and hotels means that you get more personalized attention.

Of course, there are some limitations to what you can do. Some attractions might be closed, and you might have to book in advance to secure a spot. But trust me, it’s worth it. I mean, just look at how beautiful the Mayan ruins are:

And let’s not forget about the food. I don’t know about y’all, but Mexican cuisine is one of my favorites. And Cancun did not disappoint. From street tacos to fancy restaurants, there’s something for everyone. And of course, you can’t go to Cancun without trying the famous margaritas.

So, should you go?

Ultimately, the decision to travel during COVID-19 is a personal one. It’s important to take all the necessary precautions and be aware of the risks. But if you do decide to take the leap, Cancun is a great option. Just remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing, and you’ll be able to enjoy all the sun, sand, and fun that Cancun has to offer.
